Next school year the Washington and WACO school districts will share a superintendent. The sharing agreement was approved Monday by the WACO School Board unanimously at their regular meeting. On March 9th, the Washington School Board approved the agreement unanimously. Superintendent Jeff Dicks will split his time 70% at Washington and 30% at WACO. He explained the districts are working together because school funding is low and this arrangement will save Washington over $100,000. Dicks previously served as a shared superintendent before coming to Washington.
