This Sunday is the first day of spring. Marianne Reha-Van Roekel with Reha Greenhouses tells KCII News that for most flower gardeners, planning is underway. Yet, you don’t want to plant too soon. She says that it’s OK to plant during the last week of April if the 10-day forecast looks good. However, it’s best to wait until May 10, our typical last frost date.  With respect to what to plant, Reha-Van Roekel says “Drama is in. Use plants of varying heights, bold colors, and textures.”
