Since 1973 bicyclists from all over the world have flocked to Iowa for RAGBRAI. As previously reported by KCII, approximately 20,000 people are expected to stop in Washington for the 44th RAGBRAI on July 29th. On Saturday, July 30th, riders will visit all first-time towns on their journey to the Mississippi River in Muscatine, including Columbus Junction, Fredonia, Letts and a final stop at Ardon Creek Vineyard & Winery before dipping their tires in the Mississippi River at the conclusion of the ride. Bicyclists will leave Washington by going north on W61, then east on G36 into Louisa County and then south on X17 into Columbus Junction.
