Washington High School FFA students earned recent gold and silver ratings as they competed at the Southeast District Convention and Career Development Event at DeWitt Central High School. One student’s work is advancing to state competition – Aaron Vittetoe’s treasurer’s book will be judged against other top books at the Iowa FFA Leadership Conference in Ames in April.

Morgan Brinning earned a Gold rating for public speaking. Washington also received Silver ratings in six categories, including Addie Pacha for secretary’s book; Makenzi Marek, Gabe Greiner, and Jacob Hall for chapter program; Gracie Greiner for creed speaking; Brinning for job interview; Mason Rich and Tucker Renoux for chapter degree knowledge test; and Emma Stout for reporter’s scrapbook. Also, Pacha and Libby Schnicker served as delegates at the convention.
