The final regular season tune up for the Washington Demon boys’ basketball team (7-14 overall) takes place tonight. The Demons welcome Grinnell Tigers (12-8 overall) to town for a non-conference battle.

Washington was last on the court Tuesday night in Williamsburg, falling 66-56 to the Raiders. Demon senior Derek Anding led the way with 24 points. Washington found themselves in foul trouble much of the night, resulting in 41 free throw attempts for Williamsburg.

Grinnell has struggled recently, dropping three of their last four games entering tonight’s season finale. The Tigers have two players who have scored over 300 points. Cale Knight leads the team with 368 points, while Sam Allen has added 325. Knight also leads the team with 146 rebounds.

The varsity boys’ basketball game between the Demons and Tigers is set to tip off at 7:45 at Washington High School.
