Marr Park will play host to a family ice fishing clinic. The event will give the entire family a chance to fish out on the ice, and learn tips and tricks for fishing. The event, put on by the Washington County Conservation Board, will also show those who attend fish by using an underwater camera. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources recommends wearing layers of clothing to stay warm while in the elements. The event starts at 1 p.m. on January 30th. Those who are over 16 years of age will need a fishing license.
