Hospice of Washington County provides care for people in their final months with everything from medical assistance to music therapy and next week a fundraiser is being held to help the organization. Robyn Harvey-Kuntz with Hospice of Washington County shares they’re hosting their 21st annual Soup Supper and Silent Auction Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington. There will be a variety of soups available from chicken noodle to Italian wedding soup. Also, a silent auction will be held with donated items from handmade quilts, to wine, to gift baskets from a variety of businesses from restaurants to salons.

Harvey-Kuntz explains the fundraisers are important for the organization as their reimbursement from Medicare has shrunk over the years. Tickets can be purchased at the door and there is a carryout option. For more information listen to today’s Washington Page.
