Fifteen Iowa cities were selected for low-cost water quality loans through the State Revolving Fund. The Revolving Fund is a program designed to provide a low-cost construction financing option for Iowa cities needing water quality initiatives. Letts received $600,000 for improvements to sewers to fix infiltration and inflow issues.

Iowa Department of Natural Resources Director Chuck Gipp says, Quality water is fundamental to protecting Iowans’ health and Iowa’s natural resources. The State Revolving Fund is an important resource for Iowa communities as they face water quality improvement needs.
