River level graphs provided by the US Army Corps of Engineers

English River water levels rose nearly two feet from Tuesday to Wednesday. A flood warning remains in effect. Major flooding is occurring and it is forecast to fall below flood stage Thursday. Flood warnings also continue for the North Skunk River at Sigourney and the Cedar River near Conesville. The North Skunk River at Sigourney is over five feet above flood stage at 21 feet. Also, flood warnings continue for the Iowa River near Lone Tree, at Columbus Junction, at Wapello and at Oakville. Listen to KCII for weather and flood updates.
