Four homes and one business are opening their doors this weekend for the Washington Chamber of Commerce’s annual Candlelight Tour of Homes. Michelle Redlinger, director of the chamber, explains candles are used to decorate the entrance of each home.
Tonight KCII’s Big Red Radio will be joining the tour. The homes on the tour vary from a downtown apartment to new construction to a home built in 1865, and even a home that is red and green on the outside and inside. This year’s business “sneak peek” is Knee Deep Solutions on Marion Avenue.
The Washington County Minibus is providing transportation on the tour. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10. The tour is Saturday from 4:30 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Funds raised are used to maintain the holiday lights in downtown Washington.
