The Keota Speech Team and Keota Community School District will have two big fundraisers on Saturday, December 5th in Keota. The district has planned a tour of homes to begin at 2 p.m. and run until 6 p.m. The event is being organized by the Keota Education Advocacy Team and will give ticket holders a chance to visit four local homes, some of which have been professionally decorated for Christmas.

Tickets are $10 and are available at the door or in advance from Libertyville Savings Bank, Schmitty’s, Lyle Insurance or Just My Style. All proceeds will go to the Keota Community School District.

The Keota Speech Team will also have a big day on Saturday. The team will host a soup supper from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lagos Acres. This, will be a free-will event with all proceeds going to support the teams activities throughout the year.
