All-District Awards have been announced for Class 1A District 6 and several Columbus Wildcats have been honored.

Mauricio Ramirez was a first team all-district selection. Ramirez finished the season with 1,435 yards and 16 touchdowns. Ramirez also set the Wildcat career rushing yards record with 4,160.

Other first team selections for the Wildcats included Trace Taylor and John Rees. Carter Colby and Abel Mena were both named to the second team. Honorable Mention all-district selections for Columbus were Alex Beneitez, Nick Hernandez and Ruben Paz.

The Columbus Wildcats ended their season at 3-7, qualifying for the playoffs for the first time since 1997. Columbus was eliminated from the postseason by the West Branch Bears in the first round.
