On the heels of their eighth straight winning season, the Winfield-Mount Union Wolves volleyball team (17-16 overall) had a handful of all-conference honorees. W-MU received two first team, one second team, and a pair of all-conference honorable mention selections after posting 17 wins during the 2015 season.
Senior Caitlin Jamison finished her high school volleyball career as a first team all-conference setter. Jamison eclipsed 1,000 career assists during her senior season, making her the fifth Wolves volleyball player to achieve the feat. She facilitated on 456 assists this season, rounding her career total up to 1,019.
Joining Jamison on the first team all-conference group was sophomore hitter Pearl Krieger-Coble. She led the Wolves with 198 kills this season, ranking her fourth in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North in the category.
The Wolves’ lone second team all-conference accolade went to junior Sophie Kongable. Kongable was selected to the second team squad as a libero. She dug up 305 balls this season, tied for the most on the team with senior Cassidy Lennie.
Lennie and junior Ashley Kruse were selected as all-conference honorable mentions.
W-MU ended the 2015 regular season with a 17-16 overall record, losing in the regional opener to Burlington-Notre Dame.
