Three area teams and a handful of individuals have qualified for the state cross country meet tomorrow. The state meet will be held at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge.
The Mid-Prairie boys’ team and the Mid-Prairie girls’ team will both be making the trip to state. Both teams won their district titles at Columbus Junction. The Wapello boys’ team placed third in their district meet, that finish also advances to the final meet of the season.
In addition, Highland’s Kieffer Sexton, Josh Keller of Columbus Junction and a pair of runners from Winfield-Mt. Union, Johnathon Quinn and Gavin Bencze qualified for the state meet with their individual performances.
