The 2015 season of the Washington Farmers Market in Central Park wrapped up Thursday. Looking back at the year, Bob Shepherd, market master, tells KCII News there were a number of new vendors this year with more produce and ready to eat foods, like rangoons and tamales.

The market runs from May to October each year in downtown Washington, each Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Vendors bring a variety of goods from crafts to produce to flowers to baked goods. Area artisans and producers who are interested in taking part in next year’s farmers market should contact Shepherd.
