The Lone Tree Fall Festival is underway. The annual event, which used to be held during autumn, started yesterday with a bags tournament, minnow races, a street dance and the Bids for Baskets Auction, one of the major fundraisers for the festival.
According to president of the Lone Tree Chamber of Commerce, Russ Forbes, in addition to popular events, such as the egg toss, being held today, they have new competitions, like the hotdog and Buffalo Wild Wings eating contests. The days activities lead up to the chamber’s raffle drawing and a fireworks display at 10:15 p.m.
