Is it nature or nurture that shapes who we are? The Washington Community Theater is presenting a play this fall that takes a look at this question. Doug and Beth McBride are co-directing The Bad Seed, which he describes as a thriller that is kind of dark. The play is about a husband and wife who has a beautiful, well-liked child who is self-centered and has a secret tendency for selfishness. Things get hairy in the show when a schoolmate mysteriously dies.
There are 12 parts in The Bad Seed and the McBrides are looking for a talented child actor in the area to audition.
Auditions will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Washington Community Center August 17th, 18th, and 19th. For more information listen to today’s Washington Page.
