The third Sunday of each month the Conger House in Washington opens for visitors to learn about local history and this Sunday they’re hosting an ice cream social. Dani Kane, with the historical society, shares there are 13 standing exhibits, including a native American exhibit, the Dublin store and local railroads, among others. Often volunteers are in period dress. Kane adds the exhibits are open to all ages and there will be some hands on activities and games for children.

The Conger House will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at 903 East Washington Street in Washington.
