People are traveling from around the United States and around the world to attend English River Outfitter’s Motorcycle Jamboree this weekend. The non-profit veterans organization that helps the country’s veterans suffering from physical and psychological injuries adjust to life back home is holding the event in Brighton Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Motorcycle games, a car and bike show, street dance with live entertainment and a barbeque cook-off are planned. According to president and founder of the non-profit, Chuck Geertz, supporters are coming from Wisconsin, Nebraska and Ohio and as far away as Australia.
Gates open at 4 p.m. tomorrow, opening ceremony begins at 7, and the parade is at 7:15. Attendees will have the option to camp for free at the Brighton Ball Field or by donation at Lake Darling State Park.
