Washington’s first Summer Classic has come to a close. The four-day event included Ag Day, Family Heritage, Ridiculous Day, Tribute Night, Church in the Park and Latino Night. Saturday’s Ridiculous Day parade winners were Washington State Bank in first place, followed by Grigg’s Music and Hills Bank in second and third, respectively. Jerome Vittetoe estimates there were 100 tractors in Thursday’s Ag Day parade. KCII’s Big Red Radio took part in the festivities in downtown Washington.
