Day three of Washington’s Summer Classic kicks off tomorrow morning with the Kewash Half Marathon. Becky Harkema, director of the YMCA of Washington County, explains the race route starts at the YMCA on the square and then runners will go out 6.5 miles on the Kewash trail, then turn around and return to cross the finish line on the square.

This is the second year in a row the 13.1 mile race will be held. Last year 75 runners took part in the event. There is also a 5K option for participants. Harkema shares she is looking forward to the event.

The race starts at 8 a.m. and there is same day registration, with a $60 fee for the half marathon and $30 for the 5k run. For a copy of the registration form click here.
