The annual sports drink scrimmage between the Washington Demon baseball and softball teams takes place this evening.

This yearly event pits Washington two teams against one another with the baseball team pitching baseballs and hit softballs, while the softball team will pitch softballs and hit baseballs.

Tonight’s game is a fundraiser for the two squads with the donation of a sports drink being the admission price.  At the end of the game, the two squads will split the sports drinks up evenly and use them throughout the season.

First pitch of tonight’s scrimmage is set for 6:30 p.m. at Washington’s Softball Complex.
