While the rain totals for the first two weeks of April is above the normal amount, area river levels remain well below flood stage. So far this month, Washington has received 1.77 inches of rain.
The Iowa River at Lone Tree is at 5.78 feet, below the 15 foot flood stage mark. The English River at Kalona is also nearly 10 feet below flood stage, at 4.83 feet Monday morning.
