It will be a busy week for Mid-Prairie sports this week.

The Mid-Prairie boys’ golf team has three away meets this week. Tomorrow, they will go against Durant at the Wahkahsa Golf Course at 4 p.m. On Tuesday, they will be participating in a triangular meet with Columbus and Washington. The match will begin at Cedar Crest Country Club at 4 p.m. On Wednesday, they will travel to Williamsburg for a match up with the Raiders. The meet will begin at 1 p.m.

The Mid-Prairie girls’ golf team will start their week at home tomorrow, hosting Durant. The meet will begin at 4 p.m. at the Kalona Golf Club. On Tuesday, they will travel to Columbus for a triangular meet with Washington at 4 p.m. at the Cedar Crest Country Club. The girls have had just one meet so far this year, winning their home opener against West Liberty and West Branch.

The tenth ranked Mid-Prairie boys’ soccer team comes into this week 0-1 this year after falling 2-1 last Monday against Clear Creek Amana. Their week starts with a rematch of last year’s Class 1A state championship in Iowa City against Regina. The game will take place at Iowa City at 4:30 p.m. On Tuesday they will host the Washington Demons. The game will start at 6 p.m. at the Wellman Recreation Complex. On Friday, they will stay at home for a match with Cedar Valley Christian. The game will be in Wellman starting at 6 p.m.

The Mid-Prairie girls’ soccer team starts their week at home Tuesday as they take on Washington. The game will take place at 4 p.m. at the Wellman Recreation Complex. On Thursday, they will head to Columbus High School for a matchup against the Wildcats, starting at 4:30 p.m in Columbus Junction. On Friday, they host Cedar Valley Christian with the game taking place at 4:30 p.m.

The Mid-Prairie girls’ track team will head to Iowa Valley tomorrow for a meet. The meet will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Iowa Valley Community High School. On Thursday, they will head up north for Camanache’s home meet. The meet will take place at 4:30 p.m. in the Tipton City Park.

The Mid-Prairie boys’ track team will have their home track meet on Friday. Coming into the meet Mid-Prairie’s sophomore Levi Duwa is in 5th place overall in Class 2A in the shot put with a throw of 52 feet and three inches. The meet will set to start at 5 p.m. in Wellman.
