The Iowa Mennonite School golf team will look a little different than last year. Starting this golf season the number of athletes combined for both the girls’ and boys’ team is five, down from 16 last year. All five of the athletes are boys so there will be no IMS girls golf team for this season.

Sophomores Drake Brezina and Ryan Slaubaugh have the most experience, as the only returning golfers. Coach Steve Nelson says unlike last year they can focus more on each individual golfer, “We can really focus on individuals and focus on getting each one of them better. A lot of individual attention. that is what we are going to be able to do throughout this spring.”

Iowa Mennonite School will have their first meet on Thursday, April 9th, at the Kalona Country Course against Wapello.
