In lieu of awards this year, the Washington Chamber of Commerce highlighted accomplishments and growth of businesses in Washington with a presentation at last night’s annual dinner. Washington Economic Development Group presented the Harvey Holden Service Award to the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center, with director Tera Pickens and Career Development Coordinator Kierstan Peck accepting the plaque. Main Street Washington presented awards to Virginia McCurdy, Ann Williams, Marshall’s Furniture and Community 1st Credit Union.
The event ended with emcee Jaron Rosien discussing the Creative Corridor with Andy Stoll, who said people can create here, they can “go big and stay home.”
