Practices are under way for the Mid-Prairie girls’ soccer team. The Golden Hawks are coming off of a 4-12 season and looking to break a 10 match losing streak coming into this season.

The Golden Hawks have a lot of experience coming back, only losing two players due to graduation. Senior Anne Buckwalter was a Second Team All-Conference selection thanks to the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. Buckwalter had two goals and two assists last year. Senior Bailie Harris was also on the second team as a goalie for the Golden Hawks.

Mid-Prairie will kick off their season on Monday, April 6th, against Clear Creek Amana in Tiffin.
