Kevin Kinney is approaching the two month mark of being the Iowa State Senator for District 39. KCII News spoke with Kinney about proposed legislation and his time in Des Moines. Speaking of the gas tax, the new legislator says it needs to be addressed. He states road projects shouldn’t have to be funded through property tax and he adds out of state visitors should assist in paying for the upkeep of Iowa’s roads.
