The Washington Demon girls’ basketball team (4-8 overall; 0-3 Southeast) is in search of back-to-back wins for the first time this season. The Demons welcome in the Muscatine Muskies to Washington High School for a non-conference tilt.
Washington had career-high scoring efforts from junior guard Amber Salow (20) and junior forward Addie Pacha (15) to help the Demons secure a 57-45 victory over the Oskaloosa Indians at Oskaloosa High School Saturday. The win is the fourth time the Demons have scored 50 points in a game, all of which have been wins. The Demons have yet to win back to back games this season.
Muscatine ended a season-low four game losing streak the last time they were on the court in a 45-26 victory over the Clinton River Kings. Like Washington, Muscatine is also looking for their first back-to-back wins of the season.
Tonight’s girls’ varsity basketball game will commence at 7:45 p.m. Live play-by-play coverage from Washington High School begins with the Washington Hy-Vee Pregame Show at 7:15 p.m. on FM 106.1 and KCIIRadio.com.
