The Mid-Prairie boys’ basketball team traveled to Fairfield last night looking for their first victory of the season as they played the Trojans. Mid-Prairie fell with a score of 58-46.
The Golden Hawks kept things close after the end of the first quarter with a score of 10 all. In the second quarter it would be the worst defensively for Mid-Prairie all game as they give up 21 points the second and scored only 12 points. Going into halftime Mid-Prairie was down 31-22. In the second half the defense gave up 27, but the offense would only score 24 points to finish the game.
Mid-Prairie falls to 0-11 this season and will be looking once again for their first victory of the season Thursday when they host West Branch.
