The Washington Demon girls basketball team looks to bounce back from their first loss of the season tonight. The Demons are at home for the first time this season, hosting the Solon Spartans in a non-conference contest.

Washington is coming off their first loss of the season Tuesday evening, falling 44-3o to the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman. Senior Macy Marek came off the bench to lead Washington in scoring with nine points and grabbed four offensive rebounds in the setback.

Tonight is the third girls basketball game between Solon and Washington since 2012. Solon has won the previous two matchups, including a 47-46 win last year at home. The varsity game between the schools tips off at 6:15 p.m. at Washington High School.
