Celebration of life services for 88-year-old Leland D. “Pete” Jeffries of Ankeny, formerly of Washington, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday (12/3) at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Calling hours will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday (12/3) at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Interment with military honors conducted by Washington American Legion Post 29 will take place at Elm Grove cemetery in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Hospice.
