Jingle bells will be heard through the streets of Washington tomorrow morning. The annual Jingle Bell 5k Fun Run in Washington will be held tomorrow morning with same-day registration starting at 8 a.m.

Organizer of the event, Steve Roth states proceeds this year will be used to help light up downtown Washington and other proceeds go to the Washington Track Club and PAWS & More Animal Shelter in Washington and food donations are given to KCII’s Caring Christmas food drive which helps restock area food pantries. Also, costumes are encouraged and there is an ugliest sweater contest.

Registration will be held in downtown Washington in front of the new YMCA location beginning at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
