Tomorrow is the final day the City of Washington’s waste water plant drop off site will be open for yard waste this year. The site will be open from 7 to 10 a.m. tomorrow for yard waste and it does not accept building materials or lumber. And the city’s leaf vacuum has been put away for the season and the city’s yard waste and brush pick up ended earlier this week for the year.

Also, garbage in the City of Washington that is usually picked up on Thursdays will be picked up today. The delay is due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
