The Winfield-Mount Union Wolves’ volleyball team had six players named all-conference selections by the Southeast Iowa Super Conference coaches. Three players were first team selections, one second team selection, and two honorable mention selection.

Winfield-Mount Union’s first team selections include: senior hitters Nicole Esher, and Lou-Krieger-Coen, and senior utility player Samantha Jamison,a. Esher led the Wolves in total kills (222) and digs (359), and came in second in aces (47). Krieger-Coen led the Wolves in blocks (69), and finished second on the team in kills (205). Jamison finished second on the team in digs (345) and third on the team in kills (148).

Winfield-Mount Union’s lone second team selection is junior setter Caitlin Jamison. Jamison led the Wolves in assists (559) and aces (57).

Sophomores Ashley Kruse and Sophie Kongable was the lone honorable selection for Winfield-Mount Union. Kruse finished the year fourth on the team in kills (75) and second in blocks (32). Kongable finished fourth on the team in digs (173).

Winfield-Mount Union finished the 2014 season 24-10 overall, including an 8-1 conference record.
