The Columbus Wildcats’ volleyball team had three players recognized as all-conference players by the Southeast Iowa Super Conference coaches. One player made the second team team, and two players named as honorable mentions.
Columbus’s second team all SEISC selection was senior hitter Kelsey Pretz. Pretz leads the Wildcats in kills (127), blocks (48), and was third on the team in digs (175).
Senior Tori Johnston and junior Laura Mincks were named as SEISC honorable mentions selections. Johnston was fourth on the team in kills (104).
Mincks leads the team in serve effiecieny (95.6), was second on the team in kills (100). Johnston and Mincks both tied for third on the team in total aces (21).
The Columbus Wildcats finished the 2014 season 9-21 overall, and 3-6 in conference play.
