The area’s artistic talent will be showcased this weekend. For the last six years, the Southeast Iowa Artists’ Studio Tour has given the public a chance to see the art this region produces and where that artwork was made. Individuals from Des Moines, Lee, Henry, Van Buren and Washington counties are taking part in the tour.

Washington County artists will have their artwork on display in Washington at the Jones Fellowship Room, Immanuel Lutheran Church and Blair House. Those taking the self guided can also visit Craig & Barb Swift’s Studio 909 and Kathleen Almelien’s studio in Washington, as well as Max-Cast in Kalona, owned by Steve Maxon and Doris Park, and the Donna Guy Studio in Brighton.
