Mother nature has caused the cancellation of an area cross country meet. The Central Lee Invitational scheduled to be run this afternoon has been dismissed due to the heavy rains that have fallen in Southeast Iowa over the past 24 hours.

KCII Area teams who were scheduled to particpate in the meet include Winfield-Mount Union and WACO. Central Lee Community Schools has tentatively rescheduled the meet for this Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Central Lee High School.
