The Mid Prairie Volleyball team played at West Branch Tuesday night. They lost in all three sets losing 13-25, 12-25, and 15-25. Coach Miller says the scores don’t indicate the effort the team put into the matches. Mid Prairie was 95 percent on serving, 14 kills, 12 assists, and 48 digs. Taylor Kurtz had seven kills, 6-6 with one ace serving, and had two digs. Ashley Miller had three kills, 15 digs, and 5-6 on serves. Ashley Sojka had 17 digs and was 8-8 serving. Clarice Murphy had 9 assists. Coach Miller says it was nice to things they work on practice come out into the game. She says, “They have played a lot of highly ranked teams these past few days and will take a large portion of this experience and momentum into our next match.” Mid Prairie will be back home to play Cascade on Thursday.
