Kenneth L. Smith

The subject found deceased in a cabin fire south of Washington last week has been identified. Washington County Sheriff Jerry Dunbar confirmed the subject was 65-year-old Kenneth Smith of Washington. Dunbar added he was identified by dental records. Also, an autopsy has been conducted but the sheriff’s office is awaiting the full report to determine cause of death. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The fire occurred Thursday morning, September 4th, at 2585 275th Street. KCII News will bring you more information as it becomes official.
