New leaders in farming were recently elected for the Iowa Corn Growers Association and the Iowa Corn Promotion Board. Representing District 9 is Kurt Hora of Washington County who was re-elected for the Iowa Corn Growers Association and Washington County resident Dick Gallagher will sit on the board of directors for the U.S. Grains Council. The Iowa Corn Growers Association has 16 members on the board. The new members will officially take their seats on September 1st.
