Residents of a small Washington County town are hoping to turn an event they held last year into a new tradition. The 2nd Annual Richmond Community BBQ Picnic begins this afternoon at 4pm at Richmond Park. Tom Duwa, one of the organizers, says they had a turnout of around 100 people last year and lots of positive feedback. Live music this year will be provided by local band Brass Pair. Those who attend are asked to bring a covered dish to share. Bringing a lawn chair and beverage is also recommended.
