The Highland softball team will take their one loss record on the road when they take on IMS.
IMS is having some struggles at the plate, after getting 10 run ruled by Keota over the weekend, IMS has lost eight straight. Statia Majerick is the lead bat with a .355 average and an RBI, outside of her there is just one bat hitting over .200. In the circle, Rachel Miller throws the most for IMS with 57 1/3 innings, she has a 5.01 ERA, 11 strikeouts and opponents hit .226 off of her.
Highland has lost only one game this year, and has since been on a mission to dominate the conference and any team that stands in their way. Katie Springer is 21-1 in the circle with a 1.45 ERA, 14 walks, 156 strikeouts and opponents hit just .192 off of her. At the plate Highland is led by Cheyann Adamson with a .561 average, 33 RBI’s, three homers, four triples, a double and 38 runs. Behind her is Morgamn Craig with a .500 average, 32 RBI’s, one homer, three triples, seven doubles and 36 runs. Eight of the nine batters in the order hit over .300.
