The 104th Annual Brighton Whoopee Days is coming up this weekend. This year’s theme is “Brighton – That’s Where I Come From.” It was suggested by a resident who took part in the Brighton Chamber of Commerce’s annual theme contest. The theme will be used on t-shirts, signage and as the parade theme. This year’s grand marshals are long-time Brighton residents Jack and Doris Moore. Events kickoff Thursday, with the ribbon cutting and dedication of the new city park stage at 6:45, with the Bill Riley Talent Show to follow.
