The Vision Iowa board met with a group of supporters from Washington this week regarding the new auditorium project but have not made a final decision for a more than $1 million grant. Jan Gallagher reports the Vision Iowa board is not yet convinced the project is a dual-use facility for the community and not simply a high school auditorium. Gallagher states the group is revising the grant application and presentation strategies and will submit the revised version in July. Wednesday’s meeting was the fourth for the group with the Vision Iowa board.
