A board member was sworn in and official election results were presented at this week’s Washington School Board meeting. Board member Dana McDole was officially sworn in. McDole of District 2 was appointed to the open seat in the fall after nobody sought the position in the school board elections. Since this was the first school issue voted on since the appointment the position had to formally be voted on by the district.
For the $1.1 Million bond measure for the new auditorium 866 citizens of the school district voted in favor while 398 voted against it. Approximately 69% of the ballots cast supported the measure.
