The IMS boys and girls golf teams were in action last night, and improved from the last time they played.

The girls unfortunately did not have a full team because of spring break, but they did pick up the individual medalist with Jess Bender’s 55. Other scores for the girls were Breanna Stout with a 65 and Elizabeth Yoder with a 71.

The boys team improved their score, but still fell to both Wapello and Danville. Top score for the boys was from Tanner Leyden medalist runner-up 49. Other scores were, Roman Slabach with a 58, Ben Miller with a 63, Zach Hill with a 65, and Jacob Bruns with a 73.

IMS shot a 235 total, while Wapello shot a 208 to win the meet and Danville had a 219.

IMS is back in action at the Mid-Prairie tournament on April 24.
