Washington County Master Gardeners recently discussed garden design at an area meeting. Sheila Gerot covered garden design including balance, unity, simplicity and uses. Gerot highlighted the need to consider the size of beds before choosing which plants to use. Plant beds can be laid out with garden hose, rop or spray paint.
