Crews are fighting a structure fire, just about a mile east of the Keokuk County line at 1035 Highway 1 and 78. Authorities are asking traffic to avoid the area as responders work at the scene. Brighton Fire, Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Washington County Sheriff’s personnel are on scene.
