A fire was reported shortly after 10:30 this morning at 311 East 5th Street in Washington. Smoke could be seen coming from the building’s roof. No flames were visible. Fire fighters entered the building and took a fan inside. The cause of the fire has not been released at this time. Washington Fire Department, Washington Police Department and area first responders were at the scene. KCII will bring you more information when it becomes official.
